A rather easy trick to teach your bulldog. Training your bulldog to sit is a fun and easy trick to train and it’s the most common one. You should definitely add this trick to your bulldog’s trick collection for a more obedient bulldog.

So grab yourself some treats, grab your bulldog, and begin your training process!

1. Get your bulldog to stand up. Do this every time you repeat the training process.
2. Show your bulldog the tasty treat. Let him sniff it, get him a bit excited.
3. Call out the command “sit” while bringing the treat closer to your bulldog and motioning it in a sitting position.
5. If your bulldog successfully sits down give the treat and lots of praise.
6. Keep repeating until your bulldog can sit on its own without the need of a treat!

Congratulations, your bulldog can now sit. (But not quite. First, you need to train him.)
